Rhythm of My Life

After waking up for what seemed the tenth time I finally decided to give up and get up, to find that it was only 7.30 in the morning. I don't know what the world looks like at 7.30, I don't wake up at 7.30. I have two kinds of days: working days and preparation days.
On working days I wake up at 5.30, get dressed in about 5 minutes, go downstairs, wash my face, put on illuminating eye cream, piss, and leave for the bus. Sometimes I forget something upstairs and have to crawl back again, without waking anybody else. The reason can be as stupid as an earring or as serious as my monthly ticket.
Let's take a day when I don't get held up. So, I get on the bus at about 5.55. At around 6.05 I get off and buy some pastries at Lipóti, a Hungarian franchise that I really really love. I also like buying Cserpes yoghurt there, in which case I have to not forget to bring a spoon. These products feel so Hungarian and so healthy to me. Okay, so then I catch another bus that takes me to another bus stop, and if I'm lucky, I get on the 6.20 bus, which takes me to Csepel. I arrive at around quarter to seven and have time to eat my precious Lipóti breakfast.
I have a company class from 7 to 8.30. Then I come back home, which takes ca. an hour again. I usually go back to sleep until about noon, then I quickly make some lunch, and at 1 pm leave for the very same company, where my next class starts at 2 pm. Originally the two classes where meant to follow each other, both being in the afternoon, but they changed it before we started. So now I travel about 4 hours in one day, to work about the same number of hours. Luckily, I can read a lot while travelling, I usually read about a hundred pages on working days.
After the second class I travel to the city center by suburban train, have some time to buy lunch and visit the language school HQ (xeroxing, borrowing CDs, looking up words in the dictionary), then have another class from 5 to 6.30 pm. Then I catch the 6.40 bus, which takes me home without transfer. I arrive home at about quarter past seven, and if it happens to be a Monday, I also go to the gym and have a Latin dance aerobics class from 8 to 9 pm. Usually we finish later because the instructor allows us to choose one or two extra songs, although I never have a word in it because I'm relatively new and don't much care about which song to dance to. I love this class. Especially when the choreography is not complicated and it's just 1-2-3, 1-2-3 in my mind. Standby mode.
As you may guess, I'm considerably tired by the time I get home. Luckily, the gym is only about 10 or 15 minutes' walk from us. Usually I finish the day watching HIMYM with my sister in the sitting room, as this is our assigned place for watching TV. My Mom is in bed at 10 o'clock so I don't have much contact with her. Before going to bed I read through my emails, and if I'm stupid enough, I spend some more time on the Internet before switching it off. Then I read a bit and finally sleep.
The preparation days are not so exciting, and interestingly enough sometimes I feel I hate them more. I get up between 9.30 and 10.30, depending what time I went to bed, how well I slept, etc. Then I allow myself about an hour to have breakfast in front of the telly, wash up, and turn on the washing machine. In our house washing is usually my chore, so when I'm home I always wash something, like about 2 to 5 times a week. After that I turn on the computer, check my mail, and start preparing for the next day. It means I have to plan three classes (90 minutes each). I have to admit that for me it is hard to actually get down to it because I don't often feel like it. My father says that I have two free days besides the weekend but it's not so because these days feel much heavier for me. Preparing for a lesson takes around the same amount of time as the actual lesson for me. Sometimes I'm lucky and I only spend half an hour on a 90-minute class but in that case I have to be quite sure what I want to do and how. When I was a trainee I spent as much as 3 or 4 hours on a 45-minute class. It all seems so ridiculous now but I really wanted to do my best. Besides, once the computer is on, my attention diverts in all kinds of directions. Okay, so preparation days mean preparation, washing, washing up, and cooking, often being alone until like 4 pm because that's when my boyfriend finishes work and we can finally meet.
I have a mixed day as well, namely Thursday, when I don't have a morning class, only the one from 2 to 3.30 pm (but I travel 2 hours nevertheless). This day often turns out to be chaotic because I don't have the nerve to prepare for classes on Wednesday, after my three classes, so I have to plan the lesson on Thursday morning, plus find something for lunch, and leave home on time.
From Friday to Sunday I have a weekend, but then again, these days are busy as well. My sister and I go shopping, which takes about 2 or 3 hours depending on the traffic. Then again, I have to cook something, and since I have more time on these occasions, I usually want to make something real and healthy. Then of course washing, washing up, hoovering (although it's always my sister who does it, I only hoover my own room, and not too often for that matter). Sometimes we go somewhere interesting, for example last Sunday we went to Acquincum with my boyfriend, and I really enjoyed it. Then we had pancakes at Nagyi palacsintázója, although maybe I shouldn't have because I'm a bit plump nowadays. I have this stupid tendency to feel guilty just after indulging myself, so at the end I'm even more nervous then I originally was.
At the weekend I usually don't feel like preparing for classes, so sometimes I get down to it on Sunday only. When we don't go anywhere, we watch a DVD, and I also (too often) play with computer games. My favourite used to be Sims 3 but recently I have played a lot with King's Bounty. The aim of the game is to travel around a kingdom accomplishing all kinds of quests, e.g. finding kidnapped girls, fighting enemies, making peace treaties in the name of the king, etc. I don't know if it has an end or whether it's endless but I think I will get tired of it sooner or later. (Hm, I've just found out that they have a female warrior in the latest version).
Maybe it's not proper for an intellectual person to play 2 hours a day (not every day actually) but in the meantime I keep doing my one-book-per-week quest and I also keep a blog and sometimes go out with friends and see something of the world. I don't know if I actually count as an intellectual, though I'd like to. At least I have a degree and a pitiful salary that only great minds can bear.
