  1. Nice books! (The Remains of the Day was on our reading list for the contemporary literature exam; the film adaptation is also enjoyable.)

But what about this Basic English dictionary? Shouldn’t you use one for advanced learners?

  2. I have bought Pixel, too. I can hardly wait to graduate and read it!

  3. @Miss: When are you doing your exam? I'm gonna read the book this weekend because I have to hand in my review until the 20th. Don't really know how to get down to the article yet.

  4. @Árpád: We saw The Remains of the Day at high school, though I can't remember much except for Anthony Hopkins and Emma Thompson playing the lead roles.
Actually I bought the basic dic for the sake of my students, though I'm not sure if we will use it. Of course I have the advanced version, and I love it!

  5. I'm taking the final on 22nd, then i'm free (hopefully).
I read The Remains of the Day for the contemporary lit exam, but honestly, I did not enjoy it at all, I thought it was utterly boring. I didn't even bother with the film then.

  6. Hope I'll like it cause I don't like spending money on things I don't like. For example I bought To the Lighthouse about 6 years ago, attempted three times but still haven't read it, which is strange because I generally like Woolf.
