Raindrops Keep Fallin' On My Head

You know, this is yet another week when it's only (or already) Tuesday and you wonder if there's far to go till Friday. It being a Tuesday I spent most of the day at home working on the computer, which just about drives me crazy. A few weeks ago I started working for stahl.hu as an intern, and I do all kinds of jobs there, all involving using the computer. Last week for example I had to dig the whole worldwide web for creative bloggers who present their own Christmas crafts. I mean not Americans of course, I would have been done with that in 2 secs. No, they (or rather I) were looking for Hungarian ones, and as I found out, most of them copy things. Well, I found a lot with genuine crafts but they seemed to be too complicated for our purpose. And another thing I found quite curious is that every second mother in Hungary has a creative blog. And they are good, too. I wonder if it has to do with motherhood because I felt really ashamed seeing how much more creative people are out there, sewing, quilting, baking, and so on.
Actually, I came across some really good ones and started to follow them, so let me recommend a few here.
Mézes Otthon presents all kinds of recipes from desserts to main courses and her orange cake was included at stahl.hu too.
Levendula és Csokoládé does amazing things with chocolate, lots of yummie chocolates with exotic spices. I didn't even know they make candied lilacs.
Csigaszabó makes all kinds of things from textile, and you can find lots of links to other bloggers on her profile. Many bloggers form networks, so I think if you start following one of them you will find your way to many more. And many of them have meska shops so if you're lazy you can just order something from them.
I'm planning to make orange liqueur, orange jam (marmalade), and gingerbread as a Christmas project, and considering how stressed I am sometimes, I might even get down to some crafty thing, which I don't often do.

P.S. One of the language learners walked up to me asking if I'd recommend The Help because she wants to buy it for someone as a Christmas present. Good thing when you can spread the word.
