I keep being busy all the time. In fact I'm so busy I don't even have the time to reflect on it. I manage with 5-6 hours of sleep each day, but by dinnertime I'm practically a zombie.
I had quite an eventful weekend but I'll keep to minimal information as I don't feel like going into details. On Saturday there was family day at Mercedes, where my father works. I've never seen anything the likes of it. There was this giant industrial area with huge grey (or silver?) buildings, and about 12,000 people coming and going. The whole thing was like a festival with kiosks, concerts, sunshine, and of course cars. We were allowed to visit a few halls, the most interesting of which was the assembly hall. Also, the company provided free lunch and drinks, I mean in a limited amount. In the afternoon two Hungarian bands played, namely Csík zenekar and Bikini, but I was more interested in the former. We also watched ads and films about the factory for about an hour, and it made a big impression on me indeed.
Also on Saturday there was "The Night of the Museums" in Kecskemét, so Dad, my sister and I went to three programmes. At the first place we saw some really nice retro Ikarus buses and a double decker, oh, and a lot of old computers. There was a big band playing some marvellous jazz music, which really got me in the mood. After that we went to Cifra palota, which is a museum built in secession style. Finally, we visited a medical and pharmaceutical museum, which was very peculiar but scary as well, especially the gynecological tools.
We spent most of Sunday at my boyfriend's mother's place with his two brothers. We celebrated his birthday (a month after the real date) because one of his brothers couldn't make it earlier. My future mother-in-law is a brilliant cook and we had a lot to eat, so all we did was eating and talking, and it was all so homely, I don't know why I need his family to feel like this. Then in the afternoon we went to a birthday party at Kopaszi gát, a beautiful area on the Danube, and ate even more cake.
The big issue this week is that we're planning the hen party of one of my best friends, and I'm meeting the other girls for te first time tomorrow, as they all met her when she was already going out with her boyfriend. Actually, they've come up with some really silly and obscene ideas, and want to make a real fuss about this, full of penis shaped stuff, e.g. candies, ice cubes and what not, and I'm not sure I'm ready for all this bitchy Hollywood stuff. And I certainly don't want it at my own hen party.
