Willow Weep For Me

Well, according to the letter sent by the employer I came second in the run for the position. He promised to let me know if anything changes, and I'm trying to keep up good spirits and hope against hope. Tomorrow I'll start sending out CVs with renewed fervor.
Luckily, there are some positive elements in my life as well. I spent most of the weekend with my boyfriend as his father was away. We watched movies and ate pizza, hamburgers, and a lot of desserts. We behaved like two teenagers, except that we watched Stalin, Some Like It Hot, and Egészséges erotika, films no teenager of this ignorant era have even heard of. The greater part of Saturday was consumed by a shopping spree. This (last) weekend there were vouchers issued in various women's magazines, which could be used for getting discounts in shoe shops, clothes shops, and some others as well. My Mom took us shopping and bought 2 pairs of shoes for me, and 3 for my sister. I chose a pair of black high-heels and black leatherette sneakers, the latter of which I tried out today.
I've had a crappy day today. The weather was crap, with grey sky and cold winds. The route of one of the buses I take to work has been changed because of road works, which means that it gets out of the motorway in an exit further down, which entails longer journeys. But there were positive things yet again. In the evening I met my boyfriend at the library. I found and brought home some really nice sheet music, namely selections from Diana Krall, Norah Jones, and the soundtrack for The English Patient. Of course I can only play the vocal parts and not the piano, but I started considering learning to play the piano. What makes it a bit difficult is that we don't have one at the moment. Perhaps when I move in with my boyfriend. What do you think: a big room for our library and a piano, ha-ha!
