Today my lovely boyfriend took me to Trófea, an all-you-can eat restaurant in Buda. It might sound crazy to you as we can hardly afford to order a pizza, but we used government-issued vouchers, so not "real" money.
This restaurant has been the most frequently visited one during our four and a half years together, if we count the different locations of the franchise, but the one in Ujbuda is definitely the biggest (and closest to us).
So forget the description, let's go straight to the list of what I've eaten. (Mind you, I almost burst after this more-than-two-hour-long lunch.
- Starters: goose liver pate with cranberry jelly, eggplant spread, etc.
- Soup: curry turkey stew, tonic melon soup
- Sushi maki rolls with ginger and soy sauce
- Main course: venison a la Burgundi with cranberry sauce and croquette potatoes
- Grilled cheese, squid rings, etc. with Roman salad
- Dessert: Somlói
- Drinks: peach juice and lemonade
