Now you know

Officially off the list of unemployed. Technically, have 6 lessons a week at a language school. So Uncle Vic says you gotta go. When I asked the clerk about it she said "mmm, yes, there's a bit of contradiction here. Your two years' experience of teaching doesn't count as employment, so you're not eligible for aid. But, being a wage earner, you're not unemployed either." Nice.
Btw, the tax office is pulling my leg as well. A month ago they sent a letter declaring that they cancelled my debt (which wasn't a debt in the first place, only I tranferred the money to a different account of theirs). Then on 18 Feb I got a letter (dated 7 Feb) claiming that I owe them a default interest, the amount of which they'll let me know in October. What interest? What October?
The thing is, legally they can do that. I paid my tax last May. They checked it this January, and this silly clerk (who wrote both the letters) will charge me an interest. According to a calculator on their homepage, it is a matter of ca. 9,000 HUF. You might say it's not a big deal, but why pay a fine for not paying a debt which was on their account all along? And what takes them so long as October?
I'm slightly pissed off. Slightly.
