Fix You

At 26 one should have a certain degree of maturity, I think. And now that two friends have turned 26 as well, I am even more aware of my age. Here's what I think of being mature.
Someone mature would sit down, go through the lesson plan once again and try to think of making it better. Whereas I, who totally panicked because of the mere sight of the head teacher, and made the impression of a strict and boring teacher, headed to dm first thing after class and bought a new shade of nail polish to get back to normal happy. (N.b. This particular shade is said to be useful against depression; plus I got a 25% discount.) I guess, someone mature wouldn't panic in the first place.
Someone mature wouldn't hide from Mom crying in the loo, but would do something, anything to get away from here at last.
Someone mature would apply to jobs, send out tons of CVs instead of getting depressed and sharing this info on the Net.

P.S. This is one of the cool songs we included in Sis's cool video CV. But my fav one is "The Scientist" because a) that reminds me of our graduation ball (eight years ago, oh dear), b) because of the line "nobody said it was easy."
