We managed to get by a gorgeous pair of shoes in Salamander as well as a black leatherette handbag and matching purse (in a not so well-known place). The shop assistant in the shoe shop slightly reminded me of KJÁ, except that she had blonde hair, but her voice and kindness was totally like KJÁ, and she was extremely nice too, bringing out new models and sizes from the store looking as happy as if she couldn't imagine a better way of spending her time. I've never met such a nice shop assistant in my life, so decided to buy her a flower
My cold was playing tricks all through the week, but when I got to the interview it miraculously disappeared, leaving behind a slight cough and occasionally runny nose only. My make-up turned out beautifully as well, even though I did it myself, and I only wear make-up about three or four times a year. Actually, I looked so impeccable I don't think I've ever looked so good, excepting perhaps that period of my childhood when I didn't wear glasses and everyone in the family adored me.
The guy has been sympathetic from the first time I saw his photo on their website. I imagined him as one who is hard-working, responsible, yet kind and cheerful, and these all turned out to be true. He was nothing like the asshole manager in a business suit that you see on TV. Actually, he was the only man in the place not wearing a suit and a white shirt. We had a nice talk, he treated me as an equal, and I got up from that armchair with a positive feeling. Nevertheless, good old perfectionism and dissatisfaction just won't leave me alone, and I'm pretty much looking forward to that big day, which also happens to be the birthday of Attila József, researching mind control, shamanism, and various other methods to ensure a positive outcome.
