Last night my boyfriend took me to a nice "Belgian fast food restaurant" in our district, called Beldor, which is some kind of a rarity, as we don't really have anywhere to go except for the mall, Campona. This Belgian restaurant opened about half a year or a year ago, if I'm right. What makes them Belgian is the variety of quality beers, though I'm not a beer drinker, so cannot tell the difference. Our friends say they serve excellent beers. The food is mostly burgers and seafood (in the middle of the European continent, no seas near or far). And I wouldn't agree with the fast food part, either. This is nothing like what you get in the M-word place, thank God, though they served us quickly indeed.
Yesterday we had a lemonade, which was served with lots of lemon, orange, and fig. The fig gave it a peculiar taste. My boyfriend had a salmon steak with salad and fries and I had burritos because I'm crazy about them (also with salad and fries). They didn't have any more burger buns when we arrived, that's why we chose the version with fries. As you can guess from this, the food is not typically Belgian, though they sell mouthwatering chocolates as well. The food was excellent, though for me the fries were too salty, but I usually don't like salt on my fries, so you can't depend on me here. The prices are also what my boyfriend calls "correct." The burgers cost 800 to 1000 forints and the main courses range from 1000 forints upwards.
You should definitely try the place.
