Gosh, I'm in deep shit. I went to see my accountant today and it turned out that I owe some real huge amount of money to the state, in the form of some social contribution tax or what the hell. It is supposed to be paid by the employer but as a freelancer I should have asked my contractors to deduce it from my wages, and since I have never heard of this thing I simply missed asking for it to be deduced. I wonder how much of what I earn reaches my account at all, and how much more should I earn to make a living.
Good news is a HR trainee called me in relation to an application, and she's going to interview me on the phone next Tuesday. I intend never ever to give up. Be back with happier posts soon.
