They called me the wild rose

As you might have noticed, I'm really into oriental culture these days. Inspired by the book The Joy Luck Club I've made this nice joy luck tea box as a birthday gift to one of my friends. Okay, I didn't make the box itself, I've only wrapped it in decoupage paper and lacquered it, but the work lasted for about a week, and all the bits of the process were mine, and while doing it I just felt so alive. And this is how it looks:

I only regret I haven't made one for myself. Yet.
